An accidental tip

I was going to plant a tomato plant last year so bought a 50l bag of compost which sat idle in the garden for a couple of weeks last summer. I decided not plant in the end so I put the bag in the shed all winter. This year I opened the bag up and it was teaming with hundreds of fully grown earth worms 🪱 and they’ve really turned the compost over, no clumps of organic matter just sticky moist compost. So if you want to play the long game for next summer, get a bag now, put a small hole in it and leave in the garden for a few weeks and leave in the shed and hopefully next year you too will have nutrient rich compost!
