Advice please!?

Just ripped up the old decking which was here when we moved in as it was rotted and knackered, leaving behind the new deck I’ve put in this year as seen in the second image. Don’t really want to put new decking down as that corner bit is plenty big enough for a 4 seater table. The main issue I’m having is the raised stone you can see on the left which is making it difficult for me to imagine what to do. Thinking stone edging across from the new deck to the other side and then gravel behind that. Hope that makes sense. Inspiration welcome!! TIA
