A little help for my leaf cutter bee friend

Found him drowning in a watering can. Lifted him out and he was so wet and I was slightly worried about him stinging me in a panic. I tried to help me off my thumb to a leaf to dry out but he clung on for dear life, occasionally anchoring himself with his jaws. Exhausted he sat there for enough minutes for me to worry he was dying. Then slowly he used his front legs to clean his face and his back legs to clean his abdomen and tried every few mins to flap his wings. A few tries and suddenly he was air borne. Happy to be a bee emergency service when required. Job done.
