Landscaper dug up my very established flower bed – Reddit Post

Previous owner planted a long strip of daylilies, iris, peonies, and lavender. Asked a landscaper to kill off the grass and till/spread topsoil so I could plant native grasses instead of this invasive stuff. Came home yesterday to see that all of the rhizomes and bulbs and roots of my flower bed strip were gone with the grass. Just posting to appreciate what I had. Trying to budget so after paying all the money to rip it up, I’m not gonna be able to buy replacements for awhile. Feeling stressed and sad.
