Recommendation for a climber or similar that can go in a small ish pot

I wanted to put a plant to go up the wall between garage doors and to eventually extent left and right, the wall is just over 400mm wide so cant use a massive pot and is south facing.

Not sure what to put here, I would prefer something evergreen. I already have a wisteria growing somewhere else so dont want one of those.

I was either thinking of trying to train a ceonothus or instead have pot at the botton with a hanging basket above as an alternative. Any suggestions welcome!
