I have rhubarb. I’ve never had rhubarb. Is this an acceptable amount to gift to a coworker? – Reddit Post

As the title says, my husband and I moved and the old owners apparently had planted rhubarb. I thinned out the smallest plant (there’s 4) and got a little over a pound of rhubarb, and plan to give it to a coworker who loves it.

However, I’ve never had rhubarb before. Is this too much to give at once?? Is it not enough?? She’s in her 80s and lives alone.

I picked half or less than half of the plant, so it will come back next year!!
