Is this an *Alsophila australis*?

Spotted today in a local zoo, I think it might be, as the title, a rough tree fern? I’d be keen to plant some in my garden which is south east facing, coastal northern NSW. Would they do well there? Roughly how long do they take to reach this sort of height (this one was about 20’ or so). Thank you!
