Daphne help!
So I’ve had this Daphne in a pot on my verandah for a couple of years, it started as a very small sapling and was slowly but surely growing and doing really well up until a month or so ago. It suddenly started wilting and the leaves yellowing and getting raised veins. I read that they are susceptible to root rot if the soil isn’t draining well enough, so I took it out and had a look and sure enough it had some rot. So I treated the rot with hydrogen peroxide (as I’ve done in the past with my indoor plants), took off any rotten root material, and repotted it in a pot with much better drainage and put it back in the same spot. This was about a week or so ago and I was hoping it would start to bounce back as I’ve seen my indoor plants do after rot before…but instead it’s just looking worse. Any advice?? Will it come back? I should also say that I’m a reformed brown thumb with a lot still to learn – especially about outdoor plants!
