Weird ringing on tree bark

Hi there,

I have just recently noticed this weird ringing around branches on one of my trees. Several branches affected. Previously have had issues with termites and mealybug in this area. Any advice/recommendations on what this is and how to fix it would be much appreciated!

Tree species is Bauhinia. Location Northern WA.
