Crepe Myrtle Biloxi Shaping/Pruning
Hello Everyone, first post here.
I have planted a young crepe myrtle biloxi in the courtyard. It’s very important it has a nice shape – I’m happy to spent time each year pruning it.
I’m not sure how often I should prune it or when, or how. There’s two branches fairly low that I feel should probably go so that they don’t just out at knee height (maybe I’m wrong though!) I feel like maybe I should also cut the top bit off so it starts creating more branches? Initiall I wanted a multi trunk, but the order arrived and it was a single. I feel like I can still make it nice though – what does everyone think?
