Perilla Plant is Flowering – Reddit Post

I’ve been growing these perilla plants in my backyard since spring & have been able to harvest the leaves for a number of meals over the summer! I’ve noticed that the plants are starting to flower. Is there anything I should be doing? Is it okay that my plants are flowering?
