Ideas for shallow garden beds

Any ideas on what to plant in these sad garden beds?

They both get full morning sun – one is shaded from 12pm, the other one from 3pm.

I can’t plant stuff that’d get too bushy as the car space is already quite narrow, although we don’t use it much.

I’d love some height though… anyway, I’d take any inspiration! We’re in VIC
