Honey Fungus on dead tree trunks

So I recently found out the mushrooms growing around my dead tree trunks is in fact Honey Fungus, which apparently kills healthy plants.

I hadn’t realised until now so I left it alone and it’s gone so far it’s spread white dust/spores around the nearby plants.

I’ve since gone out and removed the mushrooms, dug out some soil and washed off the spore dust (in hindsight that may help it grow) are my other healthy plants at risk after this, or is it okay as it was predominantly growing from a dead tree trunk?
