Half of my tomatoes aren’t what they’re supposed to be š anyone else have a similar situation going?
Was mostly looking forward to roma and san marzano tomatoes. The romas are the VF Hybrid cultivar from mr Fothergills, saying they grow to 1.5m, so I assumed they’re indeterminate, even though LITERALLY nothing on the packet or their website says its one or the other, I just made the assumption but they are bushing for sure, with new leaves shooting every few cm vs like every 5 to 10cm on my indeterminate plants. Theyre both currently half the height of my other tomato plants growing
This picture is the first fruit growing on my “San Marzanos”, which I have 3 of, and all look the same , also Mr Fothergills, which last time I grew some (same brand different pack) the small tomatoes were shaped spot on like a san marzano, plus the oxhearts right next to these ones look like oxhearts lol. Guess I’ll be running to the shops and buying some to plant out š¢ im sure these will be great tomatoes(š¤) but last time I tried growing San Marzanos I failed miserably so I was super excited to grow them this time. Anyone else been dealing with some shotty seeds giving the wrong thing? I also got tobacco plants from snapdragon seeds earlier in the year haha
