Had to harvest before the temp drops big time – Reddit Post

I was reading online that zucchini squash doesn’t do good below 50 degrees and neither do peppers… so I picked a ton off. There are still so many jalapeños and Serranos left on the trees/bushes. ( salsa time!!) My zucchini squash are not growing as quickly since it has cooled down a lot. They’re also growing in weird shapes, is it okay to pick them when they’re small? Will they taste bad?
