Dwarf Citrus and Sunlight Requirements
We are moving to a new apartment early next year and I think we may have a problem with sunlight for the various citrus plants we have. We currently grow dwarf tahitian lime, eureka lemon, yuzu and miniolea olives in a location with 6-8 hours of direct sunlight.
The new location we are moving to is South East facing in Sydney, and the balcony looks like it should receive about 4 hours of direct sunlight in the morning in summer, and 2-3 hours direct in the winter. Is this even enough for the plants to grow and fruit at all?
Does anyone know have any experience on how to manage this, or should we give up now and look for new owners for the trees?
