What are we doing to help our tulips not become squirrel dinner? – Reddit Post

I have a lot of squirrels, like a ridiculous amount that must live in the trees my neighbor has on their overgrown property. I want to plant tulips, but the squirrels destroy about 1/4 of the regular plants I plant, and a few years ago my tulip planting looked like a bulb massacre every morning. So, I would like to try it again and do something to keep the squirrels away. What are your suggestions?

Currently, I bought blood meal. Also, I don’t want to surround it by daffodils or other bulbs because I just want a clean tulip border. Thank you!
