What is this tree/shrub?

Hey Team,

I have this tree/shrub in a garden bed against my house. I am wanting to remove/modify the garden bed so there is little to no mulch against the house but don’t want to affect the tree.

If anyone could ID this tree so I have an idea of how to tend to it that would be appreciated.
