Dogwood blooms suddenly turned brown – Reddit Post

4 days ago our Dogwood was in full bloom and as beautiful as I ever remember seeing it. Suddenly 2 days ago I noticed all of the blooms turned brown and are dead. It does have a lichen problem but that has never affected the blooms before. What could have happened and how can we prevent this from happening again?
