What’s happening to my chilli plant?

Was doing very well in spring and summer but as it’s gotten cooler the leaves seems to have curled up and have black spots on them.

Chillies have also been going red sooner (while they are small) and are not as spicy. Not sure if this is normal in Autumn/winter?

Location is West Sydney. Has been rainy recently so haven’t been watering much.
