Garden update still a long way to go

I just wanted to share a quick garden update. You can see the original post in the link above. There’s still a lot to do, but I’ve made some progress. I levelled the gravel area to create a base for the shed, using gravel repurposed from the front garden. There wasn’t nearly enough to begin with not sure why it was done that way by the previous tenants.

I also changed my mind about the garden beds. I made them larger and extended them all the way to the back of the garden. I’m hoping to gradually shape the space into something more rounded, as I’m not a fan of rectangular lawns.

I cut the grass, scarified, levelled with topsoil and sharp sand, and reseeded again since it was still really patchy. Now that the neighbour has removed a row of trees, I’m hoping the grass and my apple tree will finally start to thrive. I’ll post another update once the new grass starts coming through.
